Théâtre de l'Heure

    The company has existed since 2000 and has since been interested in contemporary writing. It has thus premiered several texts by a young playwright, David Blumental (Le Fou qui parle (The Talking Madman), 2001; Les Hôtes (The Hosts), 2002), and has then initiated a companionship with Falk Richter, a German author (Dieu est un DJ (God is a DJ), 2002, Paris and Avignon; Tout. En une nuit., (Everything. In One Night.), 2005, Alfortville "théâtre-studio", Chapelle Saint Louis in Rouen, Théâtre de l'Elysée in Lyon; Sous la glace (Under the Ice), 2007). Different media work together and concur in bringing forth a common project. Why this name, "Theatre of the Hour"? A reference to the "here and now" as well as a taste for plays rarely exceeding one hour...
The company is currently a guest at Mains d'oeuvres.
